National Science Week Celebrations – Camp Hill State Infants and Primary School
In August 2018, That’s RAD! Science was joined Camp Hill Infants and Primary School for their National Science Week Celebrations. Grade 4 kids (~120) helped make rainbow sugar density gradients with That’s RAD Science project leader Kathy Andrews and asked lots of questions about what it’s like to be a malaria researcher. Grade 3 kids (~120) made plasticine parasites with Griffith Institute for Drug Discovery researcher MJ Chua. Thanks to the Australian Society for Parasitology for funding that contributed to consumables and cool parasite prizes!
